🟥 A MESSAGE FROM BRAD ABOUT BRETT
A Message from Brad – “What can I say about my brother? We have literally shared a 30-year career. He might be the best human being I know, and when the shit hits the fan, you most definitely want him on your team. We don’t agree on everything (that would make for a really boring conversation) but we have shared more of the same life experience than any other 2 people I know. It’s crazy how much Brett and I feel the same thing at the same time so often. It’s probably how we’ve written 2,500 songs together. Or maybe it’s the 2,500 songs that have made us so close. Either way, this was a unique experience for me, and I’m grateful to my brother for so many things it’s difficult for me to express. For part one of the season finale, Brett & I had a cozy and, at times, funny conversation about music, faith, family, friends, and the podcast. For Part Two, coming out on Tuesday, September 19, we waste no time diving into grief and the loss of Sage. Part two was extremely difficult in a few places, and you’ll know what I’m referring to when you see it. With that said, Michelle and I promised each other when we started this show that we would be authentic, with raw and honest conversation, no matter what, and this one is definitely authentic. – Brad
